C. Girinandh, the group‘s founder, says, “We believe that once music stops being ephemeral, it enters the condition of painting. Just like your daily activities, calendar or life cycle rituals, work, games, inculturation, etc… How better to express it than Folk? This song is our humble offering to the highest level artisans, the sustainers of civilizations – The Farmers. As Thiruvallur said, “Only those who live from agriculture live; all others lead a crawling, dependent life”

The Metagen project is an attempt by C. Girinandh to explore various spectral and sonic capabilities with the latest technologies to create a unique immersive experience. The album incorporates several genres like Tamil and Bihu Folk. It is also their first attempt to express music through the language of aesthetic lighting. Metagen is mixed and mastered by Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio for pristine clarity and a compelling listening experience. The album has also been rated in Dolby Vision for an exemplary viewing experience. June 21, 2022 Tenor Strings, a 20-member orchestra based in Chennai, added a grand touch to this project with their perfect sound and timing. 36 original compositions will be broadcast featuring various musical genres, techniques and renowned artists.
