Check Out All These Facts You Probably Didn’t Know About The Script:
1) Danny O’Donoghue and Mark Sheehan have been best friends since they were 12
They were part of the Mytown boyband together, reunited by none other than Louis Walsh!
2) Danny and Mark produced songs by Britney Spears, Boyz II Men and TLC
They were living together in Los Angeles and got a call from will.i.am, future co-star of The Voice, who requested a song for Britney’s 2013 album “Britney Jean” – and they co-wrote. “Now That I Found You”!
3) “If You Could See Me Now” was written in memory of Danny O’Donoghue’s late father
Danny’s father, Shay, sadly passed away on Valentine’s Day in 2008, six months before the band’s self-titled debut album. He has a rose tattoo in memory of him.
4) The name of the band was inspired by their time in LA
Apparently everyone was always talking about movie scripts, and the couple would often joke and say, “What’s the script? instead of “What’s up?” “
5) Danny apparently shared his salary from The Voice with his bandmates
Danny was a judge on The Voice for the show’s first two series in 2012 and 2013.
6) When he was 17, he accidentally spilled wine on The Edge
He’s the U2 guitarist, by the way. The U2 manager also directed Danny, and the bands hung out together one evening – during which Danny got quite drunk and fell down a staircase in front of Bono!
7) They’ve already spent £ 22,000 on drinks for 8,000 people
They told us everything in November 2019 – Mark Sheehan said: “Last year when we drafted the Freedom Charter, we bought the biggest drink tour in history,” he said explained, while his bandmate Danny O’Donoghue added: “Yes, 8,000 drinks – do you know how much the bar bill was? £ 22,000. Imagine waking up the next morning and checking my wallet , I was like “Oh no”.

Their new album ‘Tales From The Script’ compiles all of the biggest hits and fan favorites from their six albums so far.
It highlights the classic cuts from the trio’s catalog, notably the smash number 1 “Hall of Fame” (with will.i.am) and the Top 10 “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved”, “For La premier fois ‘and’ Superheroes’.
