There are two iconic blondes with a deep connection to midnight – Cinderella and Taylor Swift. So it only makes sense that the second music video from Swift’s “Midnights” album is a Cinderella themed story for her song “Bejweled”. The new video arrived at midnight on October 25.
Taylor Swift released the music video for “Anti-Hero”, the first in a long series of “Swift”Midnightsalbum on October 21, hours after the album’s release. The “Anti-Hero” and “Bejeweled” releases were marked on the calendar Swift shared with fans on social media ahead of the album’s release, but it is not known now when the next video will come.
Swift announced she was releasing a series of “Musical Midnights Movies,” in a teaser released during Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football broadcast on October 20. For the videos, she worked with cinematographer Rina Yang (who also worked with her on the Short film “Too good”). The videos feature cameos with Laura Dern, Dita Von Teesefrequent collaborators Jack Antonoff and the Haim sisters, and more.
“Here’s the trailer for the videos I made for Midnights 🌌 Thanks @amazonmusic for this premiere,” Swift wrote alongside a trailer for the visual album she posted on Twitter. We still don’t know exactly how many videos there will be, though the teaser suggests we’ll have at least one more for “Lavender Haze.”
