Several musical shows scheduled for November at the Bez Arts Hub

Langley’s Bez Arts Hub, a popular local facility for hosting musicians from around the world, recently announced its November lineup.

Co-founder Russ Rosen said the events are open to everyone and provide a great opportunity to celebrate music.

Some upcoming concerts include:

1. Jim Byrnes with Simon Kendall

Friday, November 4 at 8 p.m.

Doors and bar open at 7 p.m.

Jim Byrnes is a Vancouver-based musician with multiple Juno Awards and Maple Blues Awards.

“Jim brings the music and the audience is growing. He has made many great records and is a veteran artist. We are thrilled to have Jim coming to Bez,” Rosen said.

2. The Gig – New Artist Showcase

The event will feature The UppaTones, Aaron Willms, Wayne Joyce and ME Netzke

3. Group – The Paperboys Trio

Friday November 18

Doors and bar open at 7 p.m.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, Vancouver-based Canadian musician Tom Landa will reflect on the legacy of his folk rock band The Paperboys. The group has received a Juno Award, two Juno nominations, two West Coast Music Awards and more.

“Landa’s song ‘Better Than The Last’ has kind of become an anthem for people who have been through tough times,” Rosen said.
