Parquets share ‘Sympathy For Life’ clips ahead of Visualizer premiere [Watch]



Wednesday, Parquet floors began to drop bread crumbs in the form of Sympathy for life Full viewer preview video clips for the band’s new album. Sympathy for life, visualized premieres Dec. 19 at 12 p.m. ET on the group‘s YouTube channel.

“Marathon of Anger” and “Just Shadows,” similar to the previously released video for “Walking At A Downtown Pace,” chose the group’s hometown of New York City as the title character. Although largely built during the pandemic, Sympathy for life exists as an ode to the endless possibilities of The City That Never Sleeps. As COVID ravaged the city’s nightlife as well as the rest of the world, the festive mood for Parquet Courts’ new album was all the more needed when it returned in October.

Before the YouTube premiere of Sympathy for life, visualized, Parquet Courts will feature a new clip every day of the week. Immediately before the visualizer’s premiere, fans can log into a live question-and-answer session with the bassist Sean yeaton at 11:40 a.m. ET. Sympathy for life, visualized debuted as a pay-per-view event two days before the album’s release and features guest appearances from the NBA Hall of Famer and Legendary Grateful death fan Bill Walton and actor Joe pera.
