Brook Arts Center musical performances in September

(BOUND BROOK, NJ) — The Creek Arts Center at Bound Brook has music for everyone in September. They open their fall season with the classic rock songs of the Rolling Stones, the progressive rock sounds of Pink Floyd, the music of legendary bands Doo Wop, followed by classic compositions by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius!

September 10 at 8:00 p.m.: Well, a tribute to the Rolling Stones performs classic Stones songs with attention to detail from original Stones recordings and selected live versions. The band of professional East Coast musicians perform the greatest hits from the Rolling Stones catalog with the look, feel, energy and musical detail giving fans the ultimate Stones experience. The 7-piece band captures the style of two guitarists, a honky-tonk piano and a saxophonist, making it the ultimate homage to the Stones. And the lead singer captures the energy and stage presence of Mick Jagger while interacting with the crowd. The show features a full night of hit songs including Satisfaction, Under My Thumb, Miss You, Beast of Burden and the classics Can’t You Hear Me Knocking and Midnight Rambler.

September 17 at 8 p.m.: The Duprees. For over six decades, The Duprees have entertained audiences who love the unique, romantic sound that has echoed through time. The Duprees delight audiences with their smooth harmonies and romantic sound as they revitalize their greatest hits. With special guests John Scupelitti and The Reactions, Remember Then and MC Jimmy Russo and comedian Tommy Gooch. From their doo-wop and rock ‘n roll beginnings in Jersey City, New Jersey, they quickly grew to become an international sensation. Although the members have changed over the years, the singing group has stayed in touch with their East Coast roots and dedication to bringing their favorite classics in an updated style. The Duprees Today – Tommy Petillo, Phil Granito and Jimmy Spinelli are dedicated to preserving, sharing and spreading the music of the Duprees around the world!

September 24 at 9 p.m.: NJ’s top Pink Floyd tribute band – PINK FLOYD USA EXPERIENCE play all the classics, enhanced by lights, fog, lasers and video! These professional musicians play in precise detail, with iconic Pink Floyd live sounds such as saxophone, slide steel guitar, roto toms and acoustic guitars! This is a staged concert…you don’t want to miss it!

September 25 at 3 p.m.: Brook Orchestra perform the monumental Symphony No. 3 in E flat major by Beethoven, Heroic, and the most remarkable compositions of Sibelius Finland and Tchaikovsky March slave.
